Affiliate Disclosure
Effective: June 24, 2026
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a service through one of them, we may receive a referral payment from that vendor. This never alters how a calculator or comparison ranks the vendor and never changes the pricing data displayed.
What is an affiliate link
An affiliate link is a referral URL that lets the vendor know we sent you. If you sign up, we typically receive a one-time bounty (a few dollars to several hundred), a percentage of your first year, or a recurring share of your subscription for a limited period. The price you pay is identical to what you'd pay via the vendor's direct URL.
Affiliate tracking
We may use partner-network tracking tags, including Impact.com, to verify this website with affiliate programs, transform eligible links, measure impressions or clicks, and attribute referrals. These tags are used for attribution and program compliance; they do not change our rankings, calculator outputs, or pricing data.
How we keep comparisons honest
We hold to four rules:
- Ranking is determined by data, not commercials. Calculator outputs and comparison rankings reflect the math, not the affiliate relationship. A vendor that pays us nothing can rank first.
- Affiliate links are visually marked. On comparison pages, the affiliate link is labeled. You can also reach every vendor via a non-affiliate link if you prefer.
- We do not accept paid placement. No vendor can purchase a higher rank, a featured spot, or removal of a competitor.
- We disclose conflicts inline. If we have a financial relationship with a vendor we're comparing, that relationship is noted on the page.
How commercial links are separated from the math
Calculator formulas live in the site code and use published pricing data, user inputs, or both. A commercial program can give us a trackable outbound URL, but it cannot change the formula, hide a fee, alter a default assumption, or move a vendor above a cheaper option. If a calculator says one route is cheaper, that result comes from the modeled inputs and source data, not from the existence of a partner program.
We also separate educational pages from money pages. A methodology note, source table, legal page, or correction notice is written for clarity and verification first. Where a commercial link appears, the surrounding page still has to stand on its own as useful information if the link is removed.
Categories of partners we work with
We participate in affiliate or referral programs across the following categories. We rotate specific partnerships as programs open and close. For the current full list of partners at any point, email us via the contact pageand we'll send it.
- Payment processors — international transfer providers, card processors, multi-currency banking

- Ecommerce platforms — storefront platforms, POS systems, dropshipping tools
- Global hiring platforms — EOR providers, contractor platforms, payroll tools
- Productivity SaaS — note-taking, project management, communication tools
- Cloud infrastructure — hosting, compute, storage, deployment platforms
What we will never do
- Hide affiliate relationships.
- Re-rank a comparison because of a higher commission.
- Recommend a product we wouldn't use ourselves.
- Use affiliate cookies that persist beyond what the vendor program requires.
- Publish a vendor claim without checking the public source when the page presents it as pricing or cost data.
